Cancer Counseling, Inc. hosted its fifth annual Vintner Dinner on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Four Seasons Hotel chaired by Managing Director of Enbridge Energy Company, Stephen Letwin and his wife Debbie.
We were pleased to have Amegy Bank serve as our Corporate Honoree this year, This year we will also recognized one of our very own therapists with a Therapist of the Year award. The year’s recipient is Travis Courville, Travis has been seeing CCI patients since 1985, he facilitates individual and group sessions, and serves as the Field Instructor for our student intern position. The Executive Chef of The Four Seasons, paired extraordinary cuisine with premium wines from Silverado Vineyards. The superb dinner was preceded by a champagne reception with jazz music ensemble, Ken Mondshine, while the guests had an opportunity to raise additional funds for program services by bidding on the auction items. This year was a record breaking event raising over $100,000.

2008 Let the Guys Cook Benefiting Cancer Counseling, Inc.
Tuesday evening February 12, 2008 Cancer Counseling Inc. hosted their 12th annual "Let the Guys Cook" fundraising event at the Houstonian Hotel.
Participating restaurants and Celebrity Chefs will present samples of their favorite or newest creations. Chefs will be compete for awards: Best Chef in a variety of categories including Most Macho, Most Creative, Most Delicious, Most Elegant, and Best Over the Top.
Proceeds from this event continue to provide free professional therapy to individuals and their families in Houston struggling with the emotional affects of cancer. Cancer Counseling, Inc. annually provides therapy to over 3,000 people, offering six personal sessions and unlimited group sessions to each patient, their family members, or their caregiver.
