Friday, November 19, 2010 Cancer Counseling, Inc. will celebrate the eighth Annual Vintner Dinner at Hotel ZaZa. As Chairman, I am inviting and requesting that you participate in this great evening. Through the magic of the Executive Chef of Hotel ZaZa, a fabulous four course dinner will be paired with premium wines. The superb dinner will be preceded by a reception with music provided by Kristine Mills. In addition you will be able to bid on choice travel packages and luxury items in a live auction.

2010 Vintner Dinner Chair

On Tuesday, June 15, 2010 Cancer Counseling, Inc. held its 14th Annual Let the “Guys” Cook event at the Hilton Post Oak. This event has been a standing tradition of local restaurants and “celebrity” or novice chefs participating in competition for awards. The guests are wined and dined by each of the chefs to compete for their coins and be voted ‘People’s Choice’. In addition 6 judges: Beverly Denver, Houston Woman Magazine; Weli Jabur, Houstonian Golf & Country Club Steven Kaufman, Zeus Mortgage Laura La Rue, Bristol Stone Events Dennis Rethwisch, Nationwide Insurance Lisa Wagenfuehr, Amegy Bank David deRoode served as chair of this years event along with vice chairs: John Andell, John McAleer, and Barrett Webster in this fun and very worthwhile evening. Proceeds from this event continue to provide free professional therapy to individuals and their families in Houston struggling with the emotional affects of cancer. Cancer Counseling, Inc. annually offers therapy to over 4,000 people, offering six personal sessions and unlimited group sessions to each patient, their family members, or their caregiver. The boys raised over $15,000 for CCI. Cancer Counseling will hold its 21st Annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Tour 18 Golf Course, on 1960 in Humble.

The tournament will begin at noon with lunch provided by Texadelphia and followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. After 18 holes of golf there will be a dinner, silent auction, and awards ceremony. Contact CCI for more information: 713-520-9873 or ewilson@cancercounseling.info
